Fall Freedom Fest is a free, family-friendly celebration that brings our community together to celebrate freedom,
honor veterans, and empower community
. From live music and a veterans tribute to a Kids Play Zone, Ag-Venture,
family fitness course, local vendors, and a sky show finale—this unforgettable day depends on the heart and hands
of volunteers like you.

Volunteers must be 15 years or older to serve.
Ways to Serve
There’s a role for every skill set—pick your preferred area, and we’ll provide training on-site.
 • Welcome & Hospitality – greet guests, answer questions, guide foot traffic
 • Kids Play Zone – support games and activities; help keep the space safe and fun
 • Ag-Venture & Family Fitness – assist families with activities and obstacle course fun
 • Veterans Tribute & Ceremony – usher honored guests, help with seating and program support
 • Vendor & Exhibitor Support – check in vendors, assist with setup needs
 • Food Court Support – monitor line flow, seating, and cleanliness
 • Logistics (Setup/Tear-down) – tents, tables, signage, and reset
 • Floater Team – jump in where needs arise throughout the day
Shifts (Choose One or More)
 • Setup: 8:30 AM – 12:00 PM
 • Event A: 11:30 AM – 3:30 PM
 • Event B: 3:15 PM – 7:15 PM
 • Tear-down: 7:45 PM – 10:00 PM
 • Full-Day Volunteer: 11:30 AM – 8:00 PM

(includes short breaks; great for those needing maximum service hours)
Volunteers will have access to a Hospitality Room with snacks and drinks throughout the day. You are also welcome
to bring your own lunch or food if you prefer.
What to Expect
 • Volunteer Check-In: Inside the Katy Gardens Building (Ember Room). Please arrive 20 minutes before your shift.
 • What to Wear: Comfortable closed-toe shoes; family-friendly attire. T-shirt provided while supplies last.
 • What to Bring: Water bottle (refill stations on-site); light jacket after sunset. You may also bring your own lunch/food.
 • Amenities: Handicap-accessible restrooms available; security will check bags.
 • Parking: Free on-site parking with shuttle drop at the event gate.
 • Event Surface: The venue is primarily pavement/solid surface.
 • Food Policy (Guests): No outside food permitted for attendees (except baby food for infants/small children). Volunteers are exempt and may bring their own food.
 • Alcohol: No alcohol will be sold or permitted.
 • Seating: Guests are encouraged to bring their own chairs/blankets for concert seating.
 • Community Giveback: Attendees are asked to bring a canned food item or unwrapped toy to leave at the gate.
FAQ’S
Who can volunteer? Anyone 15 years or older on event day. Groups welcome (please register each person).

Can I get credit for service hours? Yes! We provide verification of hours after your shift(s). Bring any school/scholarship forms you need signed.

Can families volunteer together? Yes, as long as each volunteer is 15 or older and registered. Younger children may attend the festival with a parent/guardian but cannot serve as volunteers.

What if I need accommodations? We’re happy to help. Note your needs on the sign-up form, and our team will follow up.

Where do I park? Use the free on-site parking; shuttle service drops near the event gate and Volunteer Check-In.

What time should I arrive? Plan to arrive 20 minutes before your shift for check-in and orientation.
